Flexural strengthening of beams for increased load capacity.

Structural strengthening of existing reinforced concrete structures to meet increased load capacity requirements has become a common application for CFRP and is one of the most effective materials for beam strengthening.

In this case the SRS-600UNI serves as supplemental external reinforcement, resisting a portion of the tensile forces from the structure as higher load capacities were required in order to support modifications to the building.

Straightline Construction Company in Colorado worked with Structural Reinforcement Solutions to develop a strengthening design that would effectively meet all engineering requirements while reducing labour costs.
