SRS-4000 Concrete Guard – Advanced Concrete Densifier & Penetrating Sealer for Surface Strengthening and Long-Term Protection

SRS-4000 Concrete Guard is a high-performance, penetrating concrete densifier and hybrid silicate/siliconate sealer designed to strengthen, protect, and extend the service life of structural concrete. Engineered for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure applications, SRS-4000 penetrates deeply into the concrete substrate, reacts with free calcium, reduces porosity, and enhances durability against moisture, chlorides, abrasion, and environmental exposure.

SRS-4000 increases surface density and reduces permeability, helping improve overall concrete performance and preparing substrates for repair materials, FRP strengthening systems, or protective coating applications.

Applications

SRS-4000 is used across a wide range of concrete protection, strengthening, and rehabilitation projects, including:

Concrete Strengthening

  • Increase compressive, tensile, and flexural strength

  • Improve surface hardness for high-traffic environments

  • Prepare concrete substrates for overlays, coatings, or FRP reinforcement

Durability & Corrosion Protection

  • Reduce chloride penetration on bridge decks and parking structures

  • Protect concrete exposed to moisture, salts, and freeze-thaw cycles

  • Improve long-term resistance to corrosion in reinforced concrete

Commercial & Industrial Floors

  • Warehouses, manufacturing floors, loading docks

  • Reduce dusting and increase abrasion resistance

  • Improve chemical resistance and reduce maintenance

Infrastructure & Exterior Concrete

  • Retaining walls, foundation walls, sidewalks, plazas

  • Exterior balconies, decks, and exposed concrete surfaces

  • Stem walls and vertical surfaces requiring moisture barrier improvement

Product Details

SRS-4000 is a penetrating silicate/siliconate densifier and corrosion-mitigating treatment designed for hardened concrete. Its multi-phase chemistry penetrates deeply, reacts with free calcium, reduces permeability, and helps slow corrosion activity by improving concrete quality around embedded reinforcement. SRS-4000 is ideal for concrete affected by moisture, chlorides, carbonation, or early signs of deterioration.

When To Use

  • On chloride-contaminated concrete sur

  • On concrete surfaces with chloride contamination

  • When corrosion is present or suspected

  • On concrete showing signs of carbonation or early deterioration

Expected Performance

  • Reduces permeability

  • Decreases water-soluble chloride activity

  • Improves concrete durability and surface hardness

  • Reduces chemical reactivity

  • Helps restore a more alkaline environment (increases pH)

Features & Benefits

Penetrating Silicate/Siliconate Formula
Reacts chemically within the concrete to form a denser, less permeable surface matrix.

Improves Surface Strength & Durability
Demonstrated increases in compressive, flexural, and pull-off strength on treated substrates.

Reduces Chloride Ingress & Water Absorption
Lowers permeability, helping protect rebar from corrosion and preventing environmental deterioration.

Enhances Bond for Repairs & FRP Systems
Increases pull-off adhesion for coatings, overlays, and CFRP strengthening systems.

Breathable, Non-Film-Forming
Does not peel, flake, or delaminate. Allows moisture vapor transmission while reducing liquid absorption.

Suitable for Interior & Exterior Use
UV-stable chemistry maintains long-term performance in demanding environments.

Fast Application & Low Odor
Ideal for occupied buildings, industrial facilities, and weekend restoration projects.
