Parking Garage Structural Repair Using FRP Reinforcement

A multi-level parking garage exhibiting severe concrete deterioration, corrosion, and compromised load-bearing elements required a high-performance structural repair solution. SRS partnered with United Structural Systems (USS) and the Engineer of Record to evaluate damage and implement a durable, cost-effective reinforcement plan. Using carbon fiber reinforcement, corrosion protection, concrete strengthening treatments, and epoxy crack injection, the repair restored structural integrity, increased load capacity, and extended the service life of the parking facility without extensive demolition.
